Another "stang" shot from Saturday. I just like the "mirror" look.

Cool water drop Turo. What kind of set up did you use?

Yes Rooz adult mantis'es have wings. Atleast the kind we have here do.

Here's my contribution to this daily wildlife pic of the day. My favorite horse.

    I cropped this about 50%.
I have another pic that is uncropped that filled the whole frame that is alot clearer but I cut off part of the rear bumper. This was taken in the same place as the landscape I posted yesterday.

All of the pictures from my trip were taken with a borrowed d40x. For the first 2 days I did not realized the the camera was set to "soft." I am guessing that was why every picture I took turned out a little, well soft. Now that you mention it I am going to go back and up the contrast to see if it helps that soft look.

Cheap extension tubes with a 35-70 lens and a tripod on a VERY sunny day .

It's a nice shot I reckon it's worth your while to play with it in post.

I'm going to sell my 18-200*.
This shot was the Tammie instead.

    * Oh if you're about to bid on one it's the best lens ever (- just ask Ken R).
Seriously though weigh any negative statements of mine (like reduced sharpness at 200mm or reduced contrast at F3.5) against my more carefully considered opinion in my post on the next page

    DPR adorable,
You may want to nix the talk about your 18-200 if you are planning on selling soon.

Remember all those uber sharp photos you got from your Nikon 18-200 lens. wink
