    Look at what the Exif for the photo above says.

    Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
    Aperture: f/2.8
    Focal Length: 4.6 mm
    Exposure Bias: 0/3 EV
    Flash: Flash did not fire, auto mode

    I think somebody has been playing with the fairies again.

    Blown highlights, washed out contrast yep a fairy shot.

    Edit: Oh and taken with the setting sun on white surf but it still kept some contrast there. Love Nikon
