so true. that was a pretty huge blunder! especially given the fact that MANY were in a position, locked and loaded, to upgrade their equipment.

Can't believe you got a butterfly with 105mm. I can't get close with a 200mm telephoto. Wow Pastorbbc, nice first post.

Thanks JTL! I will have some other pics up next week hopefully as I'm off to the little town Lindos in Rhodes/Greece tomorrow! Its supposedly a beautiful place and I'm really hoping to put the 10-20 through its paces!

thanks - that building is Marina City, it's 2 identical condominium towers and is a famous staple of Chicago. Have a search for that on flickr if you want to see more. I have more images of it, maybe I'll post some later.
