This hairy little fella was waiting on my doorstep friday night. I hate spiders but could'nt help grabing the camera. First of all let me repeat that I hate spiders. Second, the only lens I had with me was my 15-30. Not wanting to put my face within a few inches of this thing I had to get creative. I used a remote trigger and was holding the camera by the flash. I tried for about 10 minutes before the spider wandered away.
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/14
Focal Length: 15 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Agreed. I'd rather be one of the members taking photos of a puppy like the photo posted earlier.
One of my airplane shots from the other night.

That's cool. Can you do it on a PC or is it Mac only?

esp, nice shot. That must have been a very big spider.
The one I took a picture of is larger on the screen then in real life
Aldor, great shot. I love the lighting.

This one was a little outside my comfort zone, as I'm not much into shooting patters and what-not...

I like it, maybe a bit more DOF to get the second woodframe just a bit more in focus. I like it in b&w.
