Taken on the kitchen stove (not "pure white" but thought it was pretty damn good for what it was!) bouncing my new (to me) SB-25 off the ceiling at 1/4. Just got a Sunpak 383, and got a set of Cactus V2s's on the way with a ton of rechargeable AA's. I can't wait!

Thanks for the compliments, its one of those shots you take on the way to somewhere, i wasn't planning to take it at all. Just sort of stumbled upon it.

I believe K1W1 is referring to the Nazgul in Lord of the Rings. The shot does give me the same effect. btw nice shot

Well, you must have done a good job as my 2 year old is sitting by me making those yummy slurping noises saying, "I like does!"

Reflecting back on myself, I've decided to try a semi-self portrait.
Going through tough times and feeling down, I believe praying is what gets you back up.

I hope you guys like it.

CJ- I was saying that when my wife was making them!
Anco- I LOVE the raw emotion in it. When I looked at it, it just took me to that "nothing is more important than family" place. I hope you get to feeling better!
