    thanks fiasco. i believe they go for $420 USD last time I checked.
    mines the older model without the built in motor. I got it for $450 Canadian.

    I added you on flickR. I figured your photos are just what I need for inspiration. I'm currently exploring people photography (portraits, candids, etc..)

    thanks guys. the weather was spot on but still needed HDR to get the proper exposure for the clouds.

    good job herc! IMO, the best HDR's are the ones that don't look like HDR's

    Was this a just blend of two shots (sky transplanted onto another)? Otherwise I can't see how the trees and water are at a standstill after a bracketed photo merge. That and there are still plenty of areas with full blacks (no exposure) though I prefer that look, I think having black points help image contrast.

    I want HDR shots like this but just can't get them at this point...I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I haven't tried Paintshop yet.

    I agree. I am getting very tired of the overdone HDR look and would much rather see a realistic image.
