besides, i think it works much better that wa, gives some depth to what otherwise may have seemed a little flat.

Yeah, I know its perspective, not distortion.
Though I may have enhanced the sky a little, it already was beautiful blue from the start. It's not polarized, my polarizer will be delivered today.

Nice shot, the bokeh is indeed quite good with that 18-135. That 18-135 seems to allow very close focussing distances, giving you about 1:3 macro at the tele end, I guess.

very distracting background and there was a fair bit of noise in the foreground blocking the view. i just changed it around a little. took about 5mins in NX.
