Nice shot Truflip. I like the angle. Something you'd see on a typical car magazine/ad.

Some of my shots from today and yesterday.

Thanks! I'm not usually into that kinda angle but I found this one forgiveable
Do you primarily shoot with the Sigma 30mm?

The colour on the 2nd shot is very nice!

A shot from today. Also, I started a group on flickr called "Oklahoma City Area Amateurs". www.flickr.com/groups/ocaa Anyone can join, regardless of location. I just wanted to find people from my area to go shoot with. Join up, start discussions and share pictures!!! Here's a shot from today.

You know, I look at other peoples pictures and my colors just look boring. I would REALLY love to get with one of the more experienced people on this board to discuss colors and how to get more vibrant colors. Anyway, I used lightroom with the direct positive preset and tweaked the exposure, recovery, fill light and blacks a little bit to create this, which I think isn't nearly as boring as the first. Please let me know what you think and any tips you may have. Thanks

    Thanks!

I think your car shot is a great angle shot. I can easily make that a magazine ad I have a friend who has the '01/'02 Celica and I edited his shot and created a desktop wallpaper version of it.

Yeah I would normally use the 30mm over my 18-200 just cuz it's light and faster than the 18-200. But I figured I'd shoot around with my 18-200 this time and get used to its weight. My decision which lens to use usually vary to the kind of shots I would be taking before I start walking around the city.

I think you did a good job on the PP. The only thing is that the leaves stand out more than the bird. If that's ok with you, then it's perfect

Returned yesterday from a camping trip to Green River Lakes, Wyoming. The unusual mountain in the pic is called "Squaretop Mountain." The cabins below are called the Osborn Homestead. It was an awesome trip, I'll probably have one or two other pics to post.

The man on the right is my husband, the man on the left is our friend. I kind of wish they weren't in the shot, but I don't want to be a photo snob all the time and I can always clone them out I guess
