I did remarkably little PP on this shot. The trees really were these colors. Beautiful in bloom. I used my 1.2 ND grad on the sky. I probably didn't need the small aperture here though. I was experimenting with the DOF aspect, and so far I have not noticed any "diffraction" in the shots. I spent an hour taking pictures at this spot :P

thats EXACTLY what it is. i know i'm just not doing it justice. all that shot says to me is that the 300/4 is a badass lens. other than that, its just not good enough.

yeah i just wanted to keep the shutter open for longer to catch the boat lights, without making the sky too bright, you dont have to do f/22 but the shot was kind of rushed cause i saw the boat coming and didnt have much time to set up. its also unedited by the way

Rooz as others have said, the Eagle shot is very nice. If that's a "fail" then damn, I can't imagine what a "pass" would look like!

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it. Once I posted it on Flickr it suddenly looked a little dark. Does it look ok to you? It looks better on black.

flickr explore didn't use to be like that... 2 years ago.
You could view all 500 pictures back then now you just view a few and the rest are probably junk.

    ANyway, toriaj, lovely shot!
