    Agreed.
Call me old fashioned but I'm not happy with the concept of a person editing someone else's photos without a specific request especially adding things like the tattoo. If there is a specific request, "Show me how to crop this" or similar then that's fine but until the photographer actually asks I think suggestions only are the order of the day.
If it was my photo I would be very unhappy at the moment.

yeah that crop looks pretty shitty if you ask me. The original picture didnt need editing, she liked the scar on her forehead and i liked the landscape picture. that crop and "skin smoothing" makes the picture look worse, much worse, she's 41 not 19, i like to show things how they are, and usually never edit my photos. if you take a photo and shop the hell out of it i dont call that photography anymore, thats just knowing how to use pp.

Glad to get positive comments on the Coelacanth, my family thought I was nuts posting a photo of a boring "gray fish". Loved capture 20,000 Prospero, they're not easy to capture live.

In keeping with something different I don't ordinarily name my photos but this ones called "Disquiet". I've reallised I'm mortal and been scared out of the water.

Playing with the kids on our local metropolitan beach and found this on the sand just above the low water mark. I used to swim 1/2 a mile offshore here all day every day as a kid. Yup it's a white pointer tooth.

I used to get told to get out of the water by surf life savers all the time when they spotted sharks but they were only hammerheads and the like. With the protection on white pointers, numbers have increased and only 2 years ago a teenager was hunted and eaten by one about 3 miles south of where I found this tooth.

Sorry for the bad PP job on the shot. Handheld natural light, F8, tooth mounted with blue tack onto a blue cloth that I blurred, darkened and desaturated in post.

    "Disquiet"

I just googled it, it seems that this is the first buiding where they did that. Very cool
By the way, do you have both the D40x and some Canon gear?
