    Yes, these bugs can be very annoying. They always seem to turn their back on you. And by the time you are ready to take the shot, they fly away . Still, I find it less frustrating than bird photography. If one bug flies away, there is always another one close by.

    Here's another shot I took yesterday. The DOF is a bit too shallow, but I really liked the colours:

    Are there any action shots anywhere on this thread taken from a distance please? Soccer shots but still relatively close to the play....anything like horse or dog racing, rodeo, eventing or polo (probably expecting a bit much now I guess!!)
