Not bad, odd that you got that result though. Like Xailo said, if I use Auto WB with my SB-600 I get a very blue (cool) picture. Flash WB looks amazing for skin tones for me.

The last one is just a grave I saw at the local cemetery yesterday. I thought it was a little sad to see it there like that amongst all the stone memorials.

toriaj & Dread Pirate Roberts, thank you for your comments.

Toriaj, unfortunately not, to get all the points in focus would have meant changing one of three things: DOF, composition, or the lay out. The main subject is the primary pen and I didn't want the sharpness of the knifeblade to detract from the pen.

Dread Pirate Roberts, it took about 4-5hrs from concept to finished product. I'm still going to revisit this one. I appreciate your response.

Is there a standard size that you reduce your prictures to in order to post them on here? I have Photoshop Elements 5.0 and keep messing about doing it by trial and error until it fits. Thanks

    Concerning sizes for posting
I have found pano shots shouldn't exceed 999 and nrmal shots at 600X800 or 600x900
for Dslr's are as big as you shopuld go - I personally reckon 580 high is optimum

    Thanks Geoff,

I keep trying to resize it but it still seems to stay enormous. I use the edit, resize function and even when I reduce it to a width of 4cm it expands the size of the forum page by about 4-fold. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
