a band from canada came to new jersey.
their van broke down and they needed some new promotional pictures.
at first i thought of a ball pit in a fast food play place but then we ended up at the mall.

passing through the mall we walked by a portrait studio with no one seeming to be paying attention to the front of the shop.

so with my camera over my shoulder and my sb 600 we ran in and snapped this.
probably very risky, possible fines, etc. almost the same as shoplifting i suppose haha, but an experience nonetheless. heres the final result with one on camera sb600 and a white backdrop.

nice! i like it and the story just makes it better! really enjoy all your work mate keep it up!

Oh ok... I do that in LightRoom. Just thought it would be good to be able to do it in-camera.

Fiasco, in general even if your camera has "modes" like sepia, it's better to do them in post-processing. If you do it in camera, you're stuck with the sepia look even if you decide you like it better in color. If you do it in PP, you can mess with it forever until you like it

My husband really likes this shot, I'm not sure. I think it's the OOF foreground that bothers me (should have used an even smaller aperture.) I added some detail in the sky, does it look natural?

220mm, f/16, 1/320 sec., ISO 1600 (sorry about the resize hopefully in a month or two I'll have a program that can resize decently. What program do you use? Or do you just link from a site that resizes for you?)
