I'll try another one here, this is from this past summer at the Cubs game. I was on the rooftops out over the right field wall.

Thanks, Rooz and Geoff, glad you like it!
Rooz, I love the colors in your shot.
Philwojo, that's great that your 70-300 was able to get you so close to the action. It looks like maybe the resizing lost some detail in the shot? So far, the best tool I have for resizing is the PictureProject that came with our cameras

I love the VR on the 70-300, without it I could not use a 70-300 I just shake to much.

I just use PSP-X and resized it, but I am sure it did lose some details, but overall I'd be happy if I wanted to print something like that out.

Not my best shot of the day, but I liked this one, and I like D. Lee.

Prospero. thank for your tips. I will try them tonight. Sadly, I do not have photoshop yet. I have only Lightroom.

While you are here, can I ask for opinion on this shot. I think this one the clouds are better. I am not sure if I pushed the strength too much on the ship. your comments are appreciated.

I use PSP-X too. I stopped using it for resizing because of the loss of quality when resizing. So now I actually re-import it into PProj, re-sharpen if I remember, and export it resized... not a great solution but it's worth it to me.

aparmley (adam? Is that right?) I love the sky in #1.

I like it, especially the detail of the grain... Looks like a late model 3 series
