the PP is really well done. i like the way you added the warmth to her legs. was that a just a WB adjustment or did you do something else ?

basically I just played with the dodge and burn tools, the healing brush tool and that`s about it besides the liquify portion.

I`m not familiar enough with all the new tips and tricks of PS so I go with what I know.

    oldschool I guess

i love the picture TDI. this isnt directed towards you TDI it just popped in my head. i have a question though. when is it photography, and when is it picture manipulation? i can understand lightening, cloning out a pole, adjusting colors, and so on. when people start manipulating wrinkles, bad backrounds, and totally changing someone's appearance does that constitute as photography?

does anyone else have a problem with this. i watched a video on youtube of a model shoot and then watched someone in photoshop totally distort how the model looked to make her pretty....

I did do a bit of shadowing here and there to get the lighting right and a fair bit of liquify in PS.
My wife would have killed me for posting the unedited shot - however
respect to your wife she looks great in the orig shot, no need for PP on her - BUT it is an interesting project never the less, and I like the way the sofa/bed?? covering looks more luminous in the PP shot. The tanning on the skin is clever too.
    Nice one

excuse the sloppy cloning work on the tip of his wing at the top. i'm going to have to dedicate some time to improving my PP skills. not a bad picture, more of an experiment really. i like the way the lighing worked in this one. was trying to figure out if i could light just one part of the background and have the other half dark. not sure whats going on with the bokeh in this one though. looks a little funny and not really sure why. the front bottom right has a leaf in the foreground which was quite close so i kinda get that one. but the back middle left green bit looks wierd.

sbr1 off cam behind subject angled to left away from subject with softbox to highlight some green foliage but keep the right side distractions dark.
sbr2 mounted, no diffuser directly at subject.

been meaning to post a shot for a while now.

This is two one shot with two WB. Used a cool WB for the sky and as shot for the lighting. combined them in photoshop.
