Okay, I have cranked it up a notch so that it is bordering on Ken Rockwell territory on my monitor at home now. How does it look to you?

    nice shot btw TNB
If all goes according to plan I might be going out to sema next year
Since there were two different "models" there, perhaps, the other one had a cup holder. If you come out for SEMA, plan for at least two days and bring some good walking shoes.

I was thinking the same thing--wondering if the seat would melt.

After finishing up with SEMA, I stopped by and took some pics of some R/C jets and then it was off to minor-league hockey later this evening. That is when the D3 would have came in handy since it was all F/2.8 and high ISO at the indoor arena.

Both shots were taken with the D200 and 70-200 VR. At times, I also used the 1.7x teleconverter when taking the jet photos.

TNB - that's hot. All those wonderful and challenging events to photography in one day? Wow, it's like a kid in a candy store! And you acquitted yourself very well, I see!

Those kind of leaves always have plenty of color in real life
but still do not look oversaturated, if you know what I mean.

It's a new day now, so here's another picture!
My first time taking pictures of food (other than birthday cakes, I guess ) I've always enjoyed Rex914's work, so here's my first try:
