    No offense. I just wanted to make sure peoples didn't think I was driving around in other peoples vehicles (however, when presented the oppurunity, I usually take it ).

    My old POS is a Land Rover Series 3 109. Its the 3rd generation of land rovers (the first being the Series 1, as you can imagine) and the "109" indicates that it is a long wheelbase model (the vehicle is long compared to the 88 model, which is short).

    Off road, it holds its own. Since its the long wheelbase model, it has a lot more trouble than the shorter vehicles. One thing that it is, DURABLE. That stupid truck can take hits and keep going. Short of the engine falling out the bottom, it can keep going. I will say, the newer defenders are more off road worthy. They've got a better powerplant and better suspension.
