    Here's a picture of a Regal Eagle (or so I've been told).

    I normally don't do bird shots, because I don't have the patience for it. This one was taken at a falconry with the bird sitting very close to me. Makes things a lot easier

    It was taken with the Sigma 70-300 wide open at 300mm.

    Nikon D-50
    // Nikkor 70-300 f/4-5.6 VR // Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8
    // Sigma 17-70 f/2.8-4.5 ...// Nikon SB-600
    // Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6......// Nikon Series E 135 mm f/2.8
    // Kiron 105 f/2.8 Macro....// Manfrotto 190XPROB + 488RC4
    // Nikkor 35 f/1.8..........// Sigma 500 mm f/8

    I spent all of last weekend shooting pictures at Mid-Ohio. Out of the 3000+ pictures I shot, these are some of my favorites.
    Shot with a D50 using various lenses.

    Nice bird shot. I've also used that lens for a few bird shots though I left the background in at wide--perhaps, I should go back and remove it as well.

    axoid,
    Your photos remind me of when I used to belong to a vette club. I also ran into some of same people I knew last night that were showing their vette.

    Anyway, another photo from yesterday, but this time of a car. Afterall, it was a local car show.

    Staying with the automotive theme.. Here is one of a local big turbo SRT-4 that I shot today. I took a lot of exposures and plan to make some HDR's, however this one is single exposure.

    The sky in Kuwait is the most boring that I've seen. 10 out of 12 months a year there is no clouds in the sky, not a single one. Some pollution is also visible at a distance of few kilometers ahead(thanks to saddam for that) specially when its "kos"(no wind). Lack of rain makes things dusty and dull to look at.

    I'd say wait till Dec-Feb shoot after a rainy day, wait till it is partially cloudy and shoot the same scene. You'd be amazed of the difference.

    Future plans: D300, Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 VR, Nikkor 85mm f/1.4(or 1.8).
