IMO, "practice" helps but is just one factor since "light" is the key.

I like the shot and I know it's not your fault, but that dang crooked fountain just draws my eyes down to the right.

All I see is an "X"--must be Nortons Firewall.

Besides all my time this past weekend spent downtown and on the Las Vegas Strip, I managed to shoot numerous photos of a National R/C race. Although there are quite a few other photos I like, I just sort of liked the paint on the R/C in this particular photo. These little guys travel around 80mph--this makes some very good reaction-time practice.

Haha, sorry I pulled the image cause I finally fixed my color outputs for them to look more acceptable on the internet.

Ahh I love the photo as well and yes a little cropping might make it an even stronger composition.

I think the "extreme" processing is a matter of taste. I think the vast majority of your processed shots are very beautiful, that it was an improvement. There have been a few that I think were a little overdone. But I am sure that you'd get different reactions in any group of people. But there's no doubt that you do amazing work.
    Thanks a lot, Tori.
I tried all settings of Photomatix, but I just couldn't get the water back to the colour it has in the lower part of the picture. I didn't know how to fix it in photoshop either.

Thanks for the comments, Gintares and TNB.
