That one seems to be a well-liked photo, and I do admire the colors... but I don't care for it too much, truth be told. Too much going on in it for my taste. But then, I'm just a bear that way, don't listen to me.

Thx! I started from a single RAW, saved it in 4 TIFFs (-4 , -2 , 0 , 2 , +4), merged and tone mapped in Photomaxtrix Pro, then edited more in photoshop. Oh ya and I wanted to go for a monotoneish type look though technically its not monotone because there is more then 2 colors in it. The majority of the color came from the merge I actually desaturated it. Shame that you cant see all the dynamic range in the bushes because its all gold now. Not sure if it can be considered an HDR.

Yeah it seems to be hit or miss with people. I agree theres a bit much going on which is why I toned everything gold. I was going for more of an artistic type look here :P

    Awesome, Dennis!

Looks like you just missed Runrig, premier Scottish folk-rock band, and their huge Loch Ness concert (which was rained upon something fierce, from what I've heard).

    Hey D
    Great capture,
Shame about that dust spot on your sensor, just left of center.
You may want to do some cleaning.

It messes with my eyes, I am expecting to see all silhouette instead of the green leaves. Multi exp?
