That's a beautiful shot. It has an HDR look to it. Did you do a lot of PP? Maybe it was the +1 EV that gives it that look. I love night shots, and that one almost looks like a day shot, but much more interesting Good job.
Hi Xailo, and thanks. The D50 is working out great. I had to sell my A620 to fund some of the purchase price of the D50, but it has been worth it so far. I will post more pics here as soon as I upload them to my online album.
Bob it looks like your investment is really paying off ( great picture of your son ) and shoeytennis seems to be right at home with his. I'll be joining you guys next year. I'm going to pick up a d40.

I didn't choose it over other nikons per se as you can see I currently own an S3 the d40 is a semi replacement for it. size and portability is the key factor here. I'm primarily interested in being able to pp raw and I have a pretty aggressive and expensive list of glass I want. So the decision is based on priorities and need rather than anything else, also latter on in the new year I do intend on picking up another nikon as it stands now either a d200 or d80. But I'm hoping by then nikon may have a new kid on the block.
