    I tend to get a lot of shots like that since I try to get right up in the action whether I'm shooting photos of full-size or R/C. At times, I'm also a little too close--so close that the lens won't focus and I have to wait for the subject to back off (that's also what happened when one of my indoor R/C heli shots made the cover) or reposition myself. Of course, I end up moving around the track anyway depending on the position of the sun.

    Here's another shot from that same day from a slightly different perspective.

    D200 / 70-200mm F/2.8 VR
    No Flash / Handheld / Shutter Priority
    1/400s @ F/11. ISO 640

    I liked this picture because I didn't realize we were all reflected in his sunglasses until after I saw it on my computer.
