I'd like to see the cup with a nice crema on the actual coffee. I think the contents don't live up to the expectation from the cup design.

Looks really good to me Rooz - I like the B/W conversion. . . what was your setup?

sb800 front left bounced off ceiling @ +1. with orange gel filter, (which added nice darkness to the image)

is there any way you can record exif from the remote flash settings ? onboard flash diffused using coldy's genius method of an empty teabag lol mind you at that distance away i dont think it gave any light anyway.

btw: i actually shot this in B&W rather than convert in PP so effectively this shot is completely untouched.
When I have used it, I really enjoy shooting in the B/W mode on camera. I just never think of it and when I do I always remember something I read about how easy it is to convert to B/W and how hard it is to make a shot taken in B/W change to color 5 or 10 years down the road. . . LOL . . . so I usually just convert my B/Ws but I do like shooting in B/W mode but just don't do it enough.

Thanks although I can't actually take any credit. I just hope that we are winners in France in a couple of months.

I wish this had been completely in focus (no I didn't send it to the paper).

Rooz, very nice capture there. Looks very sharp and the b&w effect looks neat with the flash around you.

thanks, i used a homemade lightbox for this jammed over the flash which really softened the light and gave it a much more even cast imo.

shoot raw and you can always change it back to colour whenever you want. the main reason i shot in b&W is cos i wanted the pic to be B&W and with digital now you can see the BW preview as it will be rather than wondering if it "works" in BW from colour or not.

the beauty of digital and raw never ceases to amaze.

So Rooz, how much does the soft box retail for. Real nice capture btw.

Reg would like to see that pic in pure B&W.

K1W1, the town pic almost looks like a model town love the mood.
I thought about who I am... and realized I was an
    unformed, unreconciled imagery, without "GOD"

    NikonD?
