Wonderful shots. Having a dog that can play Rugby is always a plus.

Ah, an accidental catch basin then.

In AZ desert areas, there are local catch basins everywhere. Typically during a monsoon rain the basins prevent local flash flooding as there can be an inch, or two, of rain in less than 15 minutes.

Great Wallaby shot, nice and close.
My contribution, 3 from a evening into night airshow. First show we have had since 2009. Wish I could have gotten decent shots of the pyro being carried by some of the aircraft. Was a very neat one by a glider pilot. Although I was shooting at times later at 2500 ISO, it wasn't enough even at 6400 to recover usable images.
These will have to suffice for now. The sunset one w/the P 51 is now on my desktop. Love that airplane!

While this is not a Roo, it is one of the returning families of semi-wild turkeys that have somehow survived many Thanksgivings.

Caught this handsome Tom in the front yard. Yes we do have turkeys in California. And while I was there, a few years ago, vice-versa.

An interesting anomaly... About 2 miles of green beach. In all the time I have lived here (on and off since I was 7) never seen this happen. In the second shot the surf is a blackish green.

    Looking South:

    Looking North:

Sorry about the dead Sea Lion. Apparently the victim of a shooting...

    Welcome back tfa8rva (aka Jay).

Where you been the last couple of years?

I remember that great firefighter shot you posted a couple of years ago.

    Nice flickr page as well.

    D70,

Really nice looking turkey. I always thought of them as a more eastern bird.

Seems I am a forum of one...

A blast from the past. Tonto National Forest (a forest sans trees) with Four Peaks in the background.
