    My crazy cat.

    Camera: Nikon D70s
    Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
    Aperture: f/8
    Focal Length: 82 mm
    Exposure Bias: 0/6 EV
    Lense: 18-200VR

Lighting is a SB-800 laying on the floor to camera left. Dome diffuser used. TTL mode was chosen (sorry for the noob flash mode, but this was an oppurtunity shot, had to shoot fast or get nothing).

Reggie will you please stop posting 55-200VR images like that you will make all the 70-200 people sick about the extra money they have spent.

I sort of doubt that when it comes to low level lighting, i.e. F/4-5.6 v. F/2.8. For that matter, I own some less expensive Sigma lenses that will shine in performance as long the sun is shinning and they don't have to "hunt and seek". Of course, as the sun drops and the action continues, out comes the F/2.8 lenses. Myself, I usually just leave the slower lenses packed away whenever I anticipate "speed" and low level light.
