    D70FAN: Exposure was 1/2s at F/18

    I was on vacation with the family and didn't carry a tripod with me (I was already carrying enough stuff for several people!). That's when I really wished I had a mirrorless system. Obviously still would've needed a tripod lol

    Yes, but probably a smaller tripod. I am starting to really appreciate the m4/3rd size benefits with the E-M1...

    Winter Surf... Marina Beach.

    Ahhh. That's more like it. Just let the AT&T Pro Am start at Pebble Beach and you are guaranteed several days of rain and daytime temps around 10deg C. Caught a couple of surf-rescue guys out having some fun at Marina Beach (usually notorious for rip currents and wicked winter surf) . Water temp is about 12deg C. Sorry but had to resort to using the old 70-300 G, then crop X2. I'll get that Tammy one of these years.
