    There are body covers and lens covers that enable you to shoot in the rain with cameras like the D50 that aren't weather sealed like the D200 and higher up cameras. Or maybe he was under an umbrella or in a car a good distance away?

    Anyways, great shot K1W1. Sports in low lighting aren't the easiest thing to shoot.

    Plastic shopping bag with a hole in the bottom for the lens to stick through and a couple of rubber bands holding it around the lens hood.
