Wow, take a few days away to get some work done and see nothing but staggering shots. Great shots all. DPR, wish I had a quarter of the talent that your daughter has.
Kind of embarrassed to post anything after seeing everyone's posts here. Great stuff!
Here's my humble contribution...single shot hdr, handheld f/8 at 1/1250s ISO 100
DPR: your daughter certainly has talent! Hope she keeps developing her skills & love of photography...shares her images with the rest of us

Ha! See, I can change...
Nice image JR, you've smashed those composition rules out of the park. (ie very successful breaking of them and the processing works a treat too)

You need to get out of the city then Tim, this bushwalk is an hour from my home but really only 5 mins drive from the outskirts of the city (of Adelaide).
Or better yet Tim, head down to Balmoral beach and post some shots of the wildlife there . The view on the foreshore walk in summer makes me miss living in Sydney something shocking.

It's a D600 -- finally made the jump to full frame. So far I'm liking it quite a bit, lots of nice little things that make shooting with it enjoyable, at least to me
