Sorry I am late with Holiday greetings but it is a bit crazy, here. We are finally getting snow that we didn't get last year. 2 5"+ storms in less than a week. Hope all had a merry Christmas, mine was, and looking forward to a wonderful New Year. DPR; great family shot, should have used delay and put yourself in, as well.

Just trying to sneak in before the deadline. Sometimes you get lucky and are seated on the right (correct) side of the plane. This was taken last August on the way from Seattle to Dallas. It's Mount Rainier of course, the still-active stratovolcano situated just 54 miles south-east of Seattle, in Washington State. The peak stands 14,410 ft above sea level, or in other words, the top of the mountain reached about halfway between the earth and the height of the plane. It was lovely to look at - the photo really doesn't do it justice. You'll note from the position of the window relative to the wing that I wasn't travelling first (or even business) class!
Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff — oh, and some Canon p&s's too
I'd like to say farewell from the Dreads and thanks for your company on the forum. It's been a pleasure to share my photo's with you and also to watch everyone's photographic journeys.
Best wishes to you all.

Here is a drip-cicle caught this afternoon. Lots of snow, here.
Also is a couple of pics of my renovated Living room, still unfinished, but I have framed and hung several of my favorite pics from recent outings. New 46" Sony TV is the central item in the redecorating project. As this is Dec. 31, we're in the middle of US college football (American) Bowl week, post season games played by the top teams from US colleges and universities.
So Long all and hope to find away to reconnect with you.
