I haven't looked at the DPReview forum yet but my expectations are very low. I hate their forum set up and only very infrequently look there. I probably haven't posted on DPReview for years.

I haven't found any other forum that has the type of feel that this one has; it's disappointing to see it close down. I think I'm probably going to be the last person who had to clean their mailbox on the forum thanks to you

I'm not sure if I will join DPreview. The format seems too congested. The only thing I like is their vigourous testings.

Fine looking family. Have a Merry Christmas, and a very happy, and prosporous, New Year.

That certainly goes out to all of the contributors on DCRP, and here on the Nikon DSLR/ILC forum specifically.

I'll hang in here until we can no longer post, and will check in periodically to see if a benefactor revives it.

Hope to see you all again at Nikoncafe (DPReview just isn't my cup of coffee... I don't drink much tea). Not sure the Ausie photo forum is appropriate for a Yank.

Merry Christmas to the Dreads and everyone else too.
Like D70Fan, I will still keep posting here until Jeff turns off the light.

Wow. Went to Nikoncafe (Yahoo groups), and it appears that the last post there was 3 months ago. Looks easy to use, and is wide open. Kept my existing username. Could be interesting.

    Wrong place.

Nikon Cafe one of the biggest and most active Nikon sites on the web. 12,000 members over 3 million posts in 300,000+ threads.

Thanks K1W1. Thought it looked a bit bare.

Cheating and posting too many but may as well finish with a few.
