Tim, really rocking those last two, probably the former most but it's close as they're both great. I really like the focus on the close carvings. Good stuff from a good location, but mainly good photography more than good location, definitely more than snapshots.

Photowerkz,
I think I envy your HeadFi collection as much as the your photography. I cannot quite justify getting past my Fiio F9/E7 combo on the amp side. Thought about the HE-400, but I just don't have enough headphone time in the day. Not sure if they would make my ears happier than the Sennheiser HD600's, Shure SRH-840's, Grado SR80's, Shure SE425's, Klipsch Custom 3's... I imagine you get the problem.

Tim;
Nice pics. Can't tell which one I like better, the sign of some good work. Someone once commented earlier on the towers, thinking they were like our western church steeples, which I believe are intended as phallic symbols.

Thanks Falconest and everyone else for your kind words. I'm much flattered. Thanks to Rooz for telling me to be more aggressive with editing, for now I can create different impact to those same images I edited before.
I've been wanting to go to that temple area since 2005 when I took up serious photography but never had a chance until recently. It's been work, work, work and more work until now. And now the kids grow up a bit too. Living in metropolitan Sydney I just couldn't find the same level of inspiration to take photos. There are more images to come up...
FALCON, I'm not sure the towers were supposed to be phallic symbols, I'm not expert on Cambodian temple but if what I'm sure is that the linga were built in smaller statue and a little more discreet (see photo). They didn't built the linga sky high LOL.
Photowerkz, since you mentioned d**k, here is an ancient one (10-12th century?) for you mate.
By the way, those images posted are little bits and pieces of The Bayon, a huge monument with perimeter the size of 4 football fields joined together.

Great series of images, Tim.
Was saddened to read of Jeff's decision to close down this site. I have enjoyed several years of posting and long-distance friendships, here. I know I will miss seeing the many pictures and advice from fellow shooters like DPR and D70 fan, you too Tim. the many compliments and suggestions have really encouraged me in my growth as a photographer. I want to thank Jeff for his reviews as well, it was his review of the Nikon D3000 that started the ball really rolling in my quest to move from a snapshooter to a serious photographer. The advice that I have received here has helped me immeasurably and I want to thank all that have helped me move forward.

Yup. My sentiments exactly guys. Hopefully we can get something going over on the DPR forums. I appreciate the advice as I grew into the DSLR world in 2004, and still to this day
the tidbits gleaned from Falcon, DPR, K1W1, Rooz, Ken, and fellow CA resident Wengler, have improved my shooting and PP skills.
I've decided to stick with the D70FAN handle, and will slowly migrate over there.
Too bad we can't just keep this thread as a website, or transfer it in-tact...

My compliments to "Tim The Temple Man". Really strong candidates for National Geographic... or Cambodia tourism, if they are watching.
Don't laugh, I got a magazine cover from a posting here. Magazine editors do cruise these websites.
