looks like he has 2 different colour eyes in this pic. wierd.
50% crop and still great sharpness from the nifty fifty.

Thanks jcon. I tried the Nikkor 18-135, but the Sigma is just a sharper lens IMO. I was shooting the Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 quite a bit, but keep comming back to the 18-125 for convenience.

There are about 600 more from Japan (maybe 100 keepers), but I'm still too laggy to edit them. I finally broke down and bought a D80 today, so it will probably be a while before I get to the Japan pics.
