    Photowerkz, I'm just not feeling it. It's overexposed in places and detracts from the image, imo.

    Pacman, that's some light and fluffy snow you've got there!

    Wish I could say it was a crappy shot Hokey , but it's a beautiful image due to that lighting. Amazing

    It's overexposed on purpose. The original image is correctly exposed, so I have all the detail in the world to play with. Think I overexposed the image something like +4 stops in camera raw

    Thank you for the kind words. The entire time I've been into photography, I've always used natural lighting. I decided I wanted to try to embrace using flash instead of avoiding it like the plague. I still always have the option of using natural light right?

    I figured it was done on purpose. And I suppose I should have caveated that I am not a fan of high key images as a whole either, lol.

    I also like the lighting on the john shot.

    hokeyguy, Interesting choice of subject, but a great shot nonetheless. I like the lighting, came out pretty cool!

    Hokeyguy, I like the lighting effect as well. Looks almost HDR like. I amglad you did not experiment with placing a light source inside the bowl
