    Interior by SunshinePhotos.TN

This is my first time I've tried an interior shot like this. Security was very nice and let me photograph inside as this is the lobby of an office building. CC are more than welcome.

Okay, I keep trying to post and this reminds me why it's been so long since I have. What am I doing wrong? Though I think I finally figured it out. Dang technology!
Nice shot. The exposure is perfect and I think you found a nice balance with the white balance. Your dealing with mixed lighting here, which can be tough, but the whitebalance in the picture is perfect.

The only thing I would try to fix is the distortion. There is a little bit of perspective distortion resulting from not holding the camera level and a bit of barrel distortion. Both are quite easy to fix with the lens correction tool of photoshop. If you don't have photoshop, use another program to fix the barrel distortion first. After that you can use Microsoft ICE (which is free)to fix the perspective.

Thanks Dennis. I know what you mean about the distortion. The lines bugged me but I've only dabbled in perspective control via photoshop so I didn't go there for this assignment since it was a lighting assignment. I'll have to give it a go and see if I can't get the image to look even better!

    Now for another image...

    CC are always welcome.

I love the sky Turo, especially as it took me a minute to notice it.

I haven't been here in ages. Lots of great inspiration going through the many posts. I'll have to see if I can stop by more often!

Really like the lighting / composition in the shot above, but the lack of sharpness of the woman is a real drawback for me personally.

Here's a picture from the same bridge (a couple of statues further towards the old city centre), but then taken in the summer
