It's a great picture, but IMO the skin tones are a little warm for my taste.

Just for s+g's I saved the pic, pulled the orange saturation slider down in LR to -14 and the skin tones look much better IMHO. I don't want to host/repost without your permission.

It was my buddies 21st birthday so we took a few pictures goofing around. As for the post processing, I decided to crank the contrast way up to mimick the color and look of the Hypnotic bottle. I wish I would have gotten more in the frame, but was backed up against the step.

kjmdrumz3, feel free to repost my shots. I love seeing people re-work my shots and it's great for critiquing each others' work.

I know it does look really warm. I should've spent some quick adjusting but I was too blown away with the sharpness of the shot that I didn't even bother fixing the skin tones. I shot RAW + jpg, and this was the jpg with the Picture Control set to Vivid.

I cropped the following shot pretty heavily but still liked the image even if the resolution ended up being pretty low...

A friend of mine was kind enough to let me shoot her horses this evening. What a blast. After we were all done, I got to ride one!

It's actually a black and white preset. On this particular image I tweaked the "Highlights" and "Shadows" under "Split Toning" to my liking. Oh and I used CS5 to get ride of the ugly barbed wire fence camera right. Was trying to get a "wild" look. The haze you see was caused by the horses running the same dirt path up and back. Have a look at my flickr page for the color version.

Just bought a serial for LR3. The noise reduction is crazy! Some of the horse images were at ISO 3200 which, in and of itself, is pretty spectacular. But that combined with Lightroom's new NR software is rediculous!
