It is pretty much back to normal everywhere besides the rivers. There were complete streets closed around here for almost an entire night. There was even a good stretch of freeway closed. As I am sure you heard, we also had that SUV swallowed by the sinkhole litteraly 10mins from UW-Milwaukee (Where I go to school). For those of you who havent heard about it, here is a link if you are interested. (It is worth watching at least the first few seconds to see the video of it)

I like the One Way sign that was sort of angled down towards the hole.
It's amazing what goes in the world that you never hear about. We all live our lives thinking that where we live is important and that we know what's going on but really neither is the case.

    'Scuse Me!

Here is an Egret that seemed to have a bit of an itch. It stood for about a minute poking at it's chin trying to get the itch. I can't stand that long on one leg and I am not as top-heavy.

About 30+ years, they were my and my brothers old ones. Now the kids play with them when they visit Grandmas for a Sunday Roast.

Thought so. I'm guessing that the WWII soldier may be even older. You should macro them before they disappear.

    DPR, those shots are breathtaking.

You're getting very good at handling that camera. I remember some of the shots you posted right at the start and no disrespect meant, but they were pretty pale in comparison.

Wish I could progress that quickly.
