    New D'fly

    Got to watch the kids. He is carrying that piece like he is an expert. Glad it only shoots water.

    Make like the Big Bad Wolf, huff and puff.
    Another of the dragonflies in my area. I have counted at least 5 different species. Not bad for the small area that I cover.

    I think I'll start addressing you as Rooz II, or should that be Rooz Jnr.
    Either way you seem to have got the macro bug (yes I know - pun).

    RE: pun

    K1W1;
    Very punny.
    Thanx for the compliment. I kinda got the bug bug (my pun ) When I first got the Fuji S700 and realized that it would take good close-up shots. Lots of small flowers and insects. Biggest problem was the shutter lag on active subjects, lost a lot of shots. Dim EVF didn't help either. I like the distance relief I get with the 70-300 Tammy. Spooky subjects like dragonflies are shootable with it.
    Here is another.

    Technically speaking a really lousy shot, without close to enough shutter speed, but I like it anyway:

    A mate has tiny scorpions in his yard, he handed me this fella (who I shot live despite my wife freaking out)

    My photos didn't really work due to lack of DOF for this body shape but I liked this severe crop.

    SB600 one side, SB900 the other triggered by on cam in infrared only.

    In a glass bowl, it wouldn't stay on top of a rock, kept wanting to crawl under.
    This time I felt I couldn't cheat and shoot him dead or out of the freezer.

    You'll really call us nuts when you find out I had to tease him to get the tail up.
