Neat. Sometimes the ones that don't work out how you think they will are the best.

The site that you are hosting the images on is not a photo hosting site and seems to be heavily Flash based. If you don't already have a free account on Flickr or SmugMug or somewhere grab one and upload the same images there. I think that they will look way better.

    Thanks for your comment, Jennifer.

The sharpness looks fine to me, but it could indeed be caused by the resizing. What software do you use to resize the picture?

I don't think uploading it to flickr or smugmug will help one bit, unless your picture is resized on the webserver you upload to. I assume you just upload your resized picture to the webserver and once on the server, nothing changes about it.

I use Corel's Paint Shop Pro if it only needs minor adjustments. If it's major the then Photoshop, although just a little secret between you and me... i sometimes get a little overwhelmed with photoshop... I know I just need to spend time in the program, but I have been so stinkin' busy with rehearsals for a few performances coming up...I know... I know...excuses...excuses...lol

Did you look at the site? It's a low budget community news type site.
All images appear to be resized to a standard measurement.
Many non photographic site resize images to preserve space and often that resizing is aggressive. To try a free account on SmugMug or Flickr will cost nothing and may just provide an answer so it might just be worthwhile. It will at least prove or disprove one possible cause.

ok I uploaded this photo to Flickr. So we'll see how this looks. The only thing PP in the photo is WB and it's been resized. How does it look?
