    Special People

    Here is a shot of a pair of special people. The child is the daughter of Missionaries to Haiti that our church supports and the woman is a Haitian-American that is a member here.
    Yes, she was there during the quake. Her mother is a nurse and was very busy during the days after the quake. Another member of our church, an orthopedic surgical PA, went down to help at their clinic and during the week that he was there treated over 100 ppl. For more info check this link.

    I have some better shots of the mangled looking tires. 8,000hp on that slick causes the tire to be pulled around with such force that it makes the tire d-shaped at speed. Pretty impressive!
