This talk of hot and cold promoted me to post this picture taken on a 12 degree day:

Okay I'm going to get shot here first because it's a crap photo and secondly because it's not taken on a Nikon but this is what the outside temp gauge on my car said yesterday.

BTW when it's idling the fuel consumption is normally 0.8l/hour. That's how hard the Ac was working to try to decrease the inside temp which at that stage was probably close to 60C.

They're both lovelly cameras. I prefer my D300, I like the size and extra buttons.

I never got around to setting up my D300 function buttons like I should have (so I don't miss as much of my cameras functionality as others might).

The D90 is still easy to change aperture, WB, ISO, flash and exposure. That's what I'm pleasantly surprised by.

I don't know how to turn off the camera picking autofocus points though. I want a single spot, with its position controlled off the toggle on the back, the way I have my D300 setup. I've gotta learn this.

K1W1, yes Honda but no I'm not into bikes. Just had access to their merchandise in my old job.

Give some thought to DPR. They had 4 days in a row over 40C and it's the second time this summer that's happened and February is the hottest month of the year here so guess what he has to look forward to.
