Just goofing around, nothing serious. Just had to do something as the camera was collecting too much dust.

    Naval Consolidated Brig Charleston
-Two military guards oversee operations within the prison complex.

Looking back, I should have gone -1EV on the flashes and upped the ISO on the manual exposure to keep an even glow.
    You live, you learn.

    Strobist info:
Nikon D700, 24mm, f/9, 1/25, ISO 400, Tungsten WB to add richness to blues.
Two SB900s, +1EV, CTB, on stands below 4'x6' diffuser on stands.
One SB600, -3EV, 1/2 CTO, snooted to light keys and face.
Shot at f/9 to keep razor wire somewhat in focus.
    Setup time: 1 hour
    Photo time: 5 min

Ah, this is much easier than me explaining my setup.

You and Joe McNally must use the same sketch artist.

I learned it from him back in May.
I picked up a few other tricks too. It helps to visit a place, visualize, and anticipate what you'll need. By doing this in advance, I was able to bring the gear I needed [plus a little redundancy in case Murphy kicked in] and not be totally clueless or visionless when I arrived.
This Brig is one step below max security, hosted enemy combatants, and is rated the #1 prison in the US by the American Correctional Association. When I'm given free reign, I'll take it!
