I totally agree...thats all the tests focus around. HOWEVER - I have now noticed what a difference it makes to be able to shoot at ISO 1600 or higher when needed, with NO degradation to image quality, saturation or tonal graduations (that I can tell).
When walking about the forrest near me, it gets dark in there. Put on ISO auto up to 3200 and I wont really notice a drop in quality.

Opens up a whole different world of shooting !

One from the weekend (cant remember iso...around 640?!)

Actually just checked...it was ISO 1250!

My suggestion Rooz, as I sent you a PM about (so we're all clear that I'm not doing PP work on other people's pictures and putting them out here without permission) is this:

Just adds a bit of drama imho, and the whole job took about 15 minutes.

One of my photos from yesterday from a hand held 3-shot HDR. I created another version of the same photo with a more grunge look. It's just too bad the weather conditions weren't like when I took a photo of "elephant rock" a while back, i.e. actually rained then instead of just cloud cover. Oh well.
