On a walk on some old indian oyster shell midden/mounds and saw three snakes alonf a 30 foot section of the trail. All non-posionous, but got a good angle on this one.

Tizeye, nice shot. Great colours and detail.

Rooz, great macro. Really nice composition.

Here are two shots I took today. The first was an attempt at being creative. It's my window on a rainy day. The second is more of a test shot really. I was trying to get more magnification by inverting the 50 on the 105. It gives you about 3:1 magnification. I get almost the same magnification by inverting the 50 on the 135, but with more working distance (I got only 1 cm or so with the 105, but 3-5 with the 135).

The fly died of natural causes. I guess one of the advantages of cleaning a room on an irregular basis is that there are always some bugs to try lenses on

Nice landscape! Did you pop the foreground with a bit of flash, or recover the highlights in RAW?
