    Congratulations again SSil.

TDI, whats a car doing ruining a perfecrtly good winery tankfarm shot?
And why don't the ladders extend all the way to the ground?

Sako, your answer depends what you're trying to do and what your budget is. I find 50mm a good focal length for cars (on a DX camera) and so I'd prefer to use my 50mm F/1.8 which is cheap lens but one I use very little. I find a good zoom much more versatile but not quite as sharp.

Sako here is a link to car photography.

I use my 18-55mm kit lense and my 10-20mm UWA some times. Most of the time I shoot below 34mm. You have have to be careful about the angle you shoot at with wide angle lenses.

I think my next lense will be a 18-55mm f2.8, either a Sigma or a Tokina.

Try to shoot closer to hood level. I agree with eric about the front tire.

You have a nice car to practice taking pictures of.

Here's another one I took Saturday. I did 3 car shows that day.

    Focal length is 20mm, f4

Some great car shots being posted recently! Keep it up! I'm hoping to be dabbling in car shots soon as I am looking to get a MG Midget!

Here's another HDR, I'm sure you're all bored of these by now but I enjoy the PP of HDR its a fun step in creating the final image.

(Sorry Rooz for stealing your border idea I'm just testing them out!)

Very creative AtlPikMan. Your turning out some very interesting shots especially compared to most other car show photos. I love how the Viper is intruding on that Vettes turn lol. I will have one one day.. Oh yes... I will.
