I finally found a victim to try the new lights on.

Camera settings: 50mm F1.8, ISO 100, 1/60s, F/5 Manual mode.
Lights: Main strobe shooting through white umbrella, lowest setting, distance about 4 feet from victim , at about a 45 degree angle, hight is about 5 feet off the floor angled down.
Secondary light was bounced off a piece of white printer paper laying on the floor.
The background is homemade.
The cat worked for cat treats. This guy works for beer.
Tried to get the Wife to let me take her portrait, but she said NO!!

Honestly, it looks like a mug shot. Never have a portrait be a straight on shot, always have it at an angle where the head is slightly tilted. My rule of thumb for headshots is to never see two ears.
