Here are some pictures I took yesterday. I had been taking pictures in the middle of the day, so the lighting was a bit harsh. Many of the shots were ruined by the harsh shadows. These didn't come out too badly. C&C welcome.
Sigma 17-70, 17mm, f/7.1, 1/800s
I used Nikon Capture NX to enhance the sky and brighten the foreground
Sigma 10-20, 10mm, f/8, 1/125s
I used a polarizer on this one.
Sigma 17-70, 40mm, f/16, 1/80s
I handheld my polarizer, because I only have a polarizer for the 10-20 (which has a different filter size)

Here is one of my first shots with the new 55-200 ED VR. It's nice to finally have a zoom lens with the quality of the 50mm results!

Classic96, that's just precious.
Dennis, nice shots. I've been kept away by cloudy skies ...
Thanks, Tori. Sorry about the cloudy skies in "Windy Wyoming". You miss Utah when the weather is like that? (or is the weather about the same in both states?)
Classic, very nice. You really nailed the exposure in that shot. Congratulations on the new lens. It seems to perform really well.
