i intentionally wanted it bright on the skin tones cos i like the effect of it in this shot. what do y'all think of the skin tone being so bright ? for 1/25s thats pretty damn sharp and there aint no PP sharpening here. did i mention i love this lens ?
Great capture! I really like the bright skin tones. I usually do a color pop and brighten up skin tones quite a bit too. I really like that effect. And I agree about the lens. I haven't taken it off my camera in weeks.

Great shot, Rooz! The blue of the eyes in the female and the priceless look on the young ones face make it a keeper! Well done.

Very nice! Did you use a flash? I like natual lighting for my photos, but am finding that without a flash, there are shadows under the eyes. The eyes in this photo are beautiful and this is the result I am trying to achieve.

    Great shot LOC,

I am curious though, why f/18? Was it so that you could use a slower shutter speed? I would expect that you could have still achieved the motion blur with a faster shutter speed.

It was my first attempt at panning. I wanted to be sure that i get enough detail and still have a slow shutter speed for the effect. Had quite alot of light so i had to bump up till i metered correct. any advice would be great.
