Is it really worth getting another strap? I mean what are the advantages? I've never had a problem with the Nikon strap.

If you are carrying around a big lens the factory strap just doesn't cut it

I love my Crumpler strap, much more padding and its contoured to your neck

Yea I kinda had some problems with the composition and so on so decided not to grop or straighten it more.

Hmm guess the strap is another thing to think about when getting a big lens.

I have the Opti Tech Classic strap. It makes shooting easier. The Nikon Strap has NO Flex to it. A D300 and 70-200 feels like you've got an anchor tied around your neck with the Nikon strap.
