What did you have? All it really needs is a little fill in her face and eyes.
Its what I didn't have, and that would be a strobe. See, I was trying to brighten her face because the light was almost behind her and her face was dark, but in doing so I made the background become way too overexposed. If I had a flash with me, it would've been no problem! I tried the onboard flash, but with that lens it casts a really nasty shadow in the lower third of the image. So, I did the best that I know how. Her face could use a bit more light and the background could use a bit less, but oh well! Next time I'll be prepared!
I was shooting a wedding over the weekend and had a little laugh at a scene that took place. Two little girls were fighting for the affection of the true star of the party. I post the two photos to tell the whole story.
