Rich, you should keep it out of the bag a bit longer. Nice shot, and post.

    Wow. Very nice Dread.

It's one of those places that I always thought "since I live close I can always go there". Now it's a lot farther away...

Another warm-ish day in Monterey. Lots of bees out today, some loaded to the max.

Monument Valley looks pretty impressive DPR. If that's what can be seen from the road what's it like off the beaten track!!!

Lovely colour on that bee shot D70. What sort of flower is it?

Phill, I can only guess hot and dusty (even in early spring). I wish now I'd taken more time to see your beautiful country but by the time I got there I was getting sick of aesthetically pleasing but crinkly rocks and certainly wasn't about to volunteer for an hour walk in the heat with the kids.

    D70 nice photo.

Thanks guys. Not sure what the flower type is Phil.

Dread. Always thought that the "across the USA" trip was pretty aggressive, but saw the reasoning of a one-time 14 hour flight (each way) as a one time (with kids) proposition.

For all of those who wish to follow in your footsteps through the desert(s) here I would recommend October/November or March/April.

P.S. Phil lives in the UK.

I actually took the Nikon out of its bag today so I thought I had better show the result.

Nice K1W1, you should get it out more often. Though I must admit you are rocking your
